Emma Navarro became just the fifth player this century to win a WTA final by a 6-0 6-0 scoreline, as she dominated qualifier Emiliana Arango in Sunday's Merida Open final. (More Tennis News)
Playing as the top seed at a WTA event for the first time in her career, Navarro had not dropped a single set en route to the final, and she went a step further in the showpiece match.
The world number 10 only needed 55 minutes to wrap up her victory, bringing up five break points in each set and converting two on both occasions.
Arango, who had never previously been beyond the last eight at a WTA event, barely got a look in on Navarro's serve and struggled on her own serve.
